SACRAMENTO, CA – The entire Galt City Council announced their endorsement and strong support of Thien Ho for Sacramento County District Attorney. The Galt City Councilmembers include the following: ● Galt Mayor Shawn Farmer ● Galt Vice Mayor Paul Sandhu ● Galt Council Member Rich Lozano ● Galt Council Member Kevin Papineau ● Galt Council Member Jay Vandenburg “Public Safety is very important to the citizens of Galt. We believe with his experience and views on handling crime, Thein Ho is the right person for the job and will be the most effective District Attorney for the City of Galt,” said Galt Mayor Shawn Farmer. “The entire Galt City Council and I are proud to endorse Thien Ho for District Attorney. Thien brings decades of experience in crime prevention, protecting victims’ rights and building partnerships with communities.”

Ho’s campaign has opened a wide lead in fundraising, raising $800,000 since 2021. As a refugee who fled Vietnam seeking freedom and opportunities for a better life, Thien Ho is the embodiment of the American Dream. As a lawyer with 23 years of experience, Thien has pursued justice every time he steps into the courtroom. As a deputy district attorney, Thien has prosecuted the most violent and dangerous criminals, including the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer. As the Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento County, Thien manages and oversees an entire bureau of lawyers who protect the public, collaborate with community partners, and guard the integrity of the criminal justice system.
