SACRAMENTO – Folsom Mayor Kerri Howell and entire Folsom City Council today announced their endorsement of prosecutor Thien Ho in his campaign for Sacramento County District Attorney, joining a growing list of prominent elected, law enforcement and community leaders supporting him.

Joining Mayor Howell in backing Thien Ho for District Attorney are Folsom Vice Mayor Rosario Rodriguez and Folsom Councilmembers Sarah Aquino, YK Chalamcherla, and Mike Kozlowski.

“We are proud to endorse Thien Ho for District Attorney because he is the only candidate with the experience to help the Folsom Police Department keep the City of Folsom safe,” said Folsom Mayor Kerri Howell. “Thien has the leadership skills and executive expertise to fight theft, gun offenses and domestic violence. The entire Folsom City Council has endorsed Thien for Sacramento DA.”

Ho’s campaign has opened a wide lead in fundraising with more than $519,000 in 2021.

As a refugee who fled Vietnam seeking freedom and opportunities for a better life, Thien Ho is the embodiment of the American Dream. As a lawyer with 23 years of experience, Thien has pursued justice every time he steps into the courtroom. As a deputy district attorney, Thien has prosecuted the most violent and dangerous criminals, including the East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer. As the Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney for Sacramento County, Thien manages and oversees an entire bureau of lawyers who protect the public, collaborate with community partners, and guard the integrity of the criminal justice system.
